Birmingham’s most famous retail centre and one of the City’s most iconic buildings will transform into a live music arena as Selfridges hosts a one-off, acoustic live performance with hometown heroes Ocean Colour Scene.

After an incredible 20 year journey through British rock and roll, multi- million selling Ocean Colour Scene are putting the finishing touches to their new album using esteemed producer Gavin Monaghan (Kings of Leon, Robert Plant, Editors, The Twang) at the helm. Using legendary studio Rockfield, a power-packed, guitar- driven album awaits as the soundtrack to their 21st rock and roll celebrations.

O2 Academy Birmingham launches with an incredible programme of music, celebrating the opening of the new venue which has three rooms and the ability to operate independently as well as simultaneously. Kicking off the proceedings are Editors (Thurs 10th), followed by a very special show featuring The Twang (Fri 11th) alongside a hand picked line up of local acts. Mike Skinner starts the weekend manoeuvres with The Streets (Sat 11th) and bringing the weekend celebrations to a close, Ocean Colour Scene (Sun 12th).
